Manager Bio

Claudio Altini

Claudio First became involved in Junior Football when he took his son to the Fleet Town Colts Saturday Morning Club as a keen 4 year-old in 2001.

Standing on the sidelines watching did not seem nearly as much fun as playing, so he decided to start helping with the coaching which soon led to him taking on the newly formed U6 squad the following year and has been coaching this group as they progressed through the age-groups ever since.

Claudio achieved his FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football in April 2009.  Claudio also holds the FA Goalkeeping Coaching Award (Level 1), is a full member of the FA Coaches Association as well as the Hampshire Football Association Coaches Association.

Claudio has always been a keen follower of sports, with a particular passion for Football.  Claudio played both Football and Rugby for the school first teams.  After that University and other ‘distractions’ took over and ever since has enjoyed playing football at a social level.  He is now a keen student of the game, in particular the development of children.

Claudio is married, with a daughter mad keen on horse-riding, and a son with ambitions to be the next Petr Cech so in-between coaching, watching football (mostly Chelsea!), show jumping competitions, and playing a little golf he finds a bit of time to squeeze in work!
