Fleet took the match to AFC Westend from the off, although only managed a 1 - 0 lead at half time, with a goal taken by Danny Cronin.
Second half, Fleet started to open up with some pressure passing and good movement around the pitch, especially down the flanks. This resulted in further goals from Ryan Coles, Ryan Mulcahy (2) and Matt O'Hara.
A confidence building performance from the whole team with a well deserved win.
MoM The whole team for all round effort and team display.

Both teams struggled with high winds today but Fleet edged the win with possession and tenacity, adapting to the conditions. In the second half, Fleet's efforts were rewarded with a well worked move down the left hand side between Ryan Coles and Russell Cairns, resulting in a super cross with Ryan Mulcahy tucking the ball nicely into the bottom right hand corner. Raiders defence held firm but had been outstanding throughout the match, aided by some superb keeping from Seb Waddington to keep them in the match. A pleasing result bearing in mind several players were off with sickness.
MoM Josh Hitchin for solid performance in defence.

Raiders were unlucky not to take all three points. It wasn't their day with several chances not being put away in the first half and a missed penalty. A well taken goal by Ryan Mulcahy sent Raiders in 1-1 at half time. Raiders continued to press in the second half and were rewarded with a goal late on by Danny Cronin. However, a defensive lapse in the fourth minute of injury time cost them the outright win which was deserved. The match ended on a 2-2 draw.

A well contested match, with Raiders nevertheless missing scoring opportunities which they would normally have taken. Several shots hit the post and bar, including a 25 yarder from Ryan Coles. Raiders went in 1-0 up at half time, goal by Matt O'Hara, with all to play for.
In the second half Raiders started to impose their passing play, which resulted in a well worked move on the right hand side of the pitch, ending up with Ryan Wylie Dove scoring from an acute angle.
Raiders let in a soft goal late in the second half and should have won by a greater margin, a good team performance to progress to the next round of the Cup.
MoM Jake Cvetkovic for his hard work in midfield.

Walton scored an early goal in the first half which caught the Raiders off guard. However, Raiders equalised just before half time with a goal from Matt Arnold.
Second half Raiders took the game to Walton and played with more confidence after a re-shuffle in midfield. This resulted in a second goal by Ryan Coles and a further third goal was scored by Ryan Wylie Dove. Raiders hit the bar several times throughout the match and could have run out with a bigger result.
MoM Matt Arnold for hard work and tenacity.

Raiders were slow to start and conceded an early scrambled goal followed by another due to poor man marking. However, a well worked move on the flanks by Matt Arnold and Ryan Coles resulted in a cross which was headed in superbly by Ryan Mulcahy, just before half time.
Raiders came out a different team in the second half, taking the game to Mayford, who were frustrated and gave away a penalty mid way through the half. Raiders dominated and persisted in the last ten minutes, keeping the pressure on in Mayford's half. They were rewarded with a third goal which was well deserved for their efforts.
MoM Ryan Mulcahy for his hat trick and hard work.

Lacklustre performance from Colts this weekend as the boys failed to maintain their form of the last few weeks. 3 soft goals meant that Fleet were always chasing the game, in spite of a well taken equaliser from Danny Cronin. MoM Jake Cvetkovic who was competitive in midfield.

First half, Fleet dominated the match with good movement and passing. Some basic errors let the opposition in but Raiders remained 3-2 up at half time. Second half, Fleet came out all guns blazing and scored a further 2 goals to put them 5-2 up.
However, lapses of concentration allowed Hurst Park back into the game, scoring 2 goals to put the final score at 5-4.
Goals scored by Mike Stapelberg (2), Danny Cronin, Rhys Holifield and Ryan Mulcahy.
MoM Matt O'Hara for hard work in defence.

A good start to the season by the Raiders, following on from last week's win over Abbey Rangers 5-0.
Raiders continued to play accurate passing football and produced good movement off the ball. This could have resulted in further goals in the first half, Fleet being 1-0 up with a goal from Ryan Coles.
Second half Raiders maintained pressure on Westend's defence producing 2 further goals from Matt Arnold and Ryan Mulcahy to seal the win. A consolation goal in the last few minutes by Westend.
MoM Whole team.
