Team Biography

Colts 'A'

This season sees many changes to the Colts squad, though the majority of the boys have all been playing for Fleet Town Colts for many years, at least half of them for 5 years. So it has been very rewarding watching these boys progress & develop their football technique, skills & knowledge. The Colts faired well last season finishing mid-table in Div 2 of the Surrey Primary League, in their first competitive season. The new team has bonded well very early on, helped by winning the Plate in Fleet Town’s first 6 a side tournament.

Manager Bio

Stephen Finn

Stephen has been managing the U11's Fleet Town Colts squad since they started as little U6s trying to find their way around the pitch. Prior to that he spent 2 seasons with them in the nursery club, where the boys were learning how to kick a ball & in which goal! Stephen is a FA Level 2 qualified coach, who got involved in kids football once he stopped playing competitively at a local level. He has since returned & now plods his way around the pitch representing the Fleet Casuals Vets. Stephen also runs football based classes for pre-school children by day, by the name of Little Kickers.
