Team Biography

2011/2012 will be the third full season for the Tornados and we will be building on our fantastic season last year which saw us promoted to the dizzy heights of SPL Division 4 in the Under 10 age group.

Our aims for this season are to keep enjoying and improving our understanding of the game, preparing the boys for 9 a-side or 11 a-side football next year and, with any luck, pick up a piece of silverwear along the way!

Manager Bio

Paul Knights

Paul has been playing football for various Sunday league teams since he was about 8 years old, mainly as a goalkeeper, although with more recent forays in the outfield and still plays indoor 5 a-side football and 11 a side football for the Fleet Casuals Veterans.

This will be his first full season with the Tornados, having started with the team halfway through the U7 season. His aims are to ensure all the team enjoys their football and develop the skills they need to keep playing until they are at least as old as he is!
