A game of two halfs,although Fleet scored a goal in each half our performance in the second was far better than the first. The first half saw the defence,rotated between Alex,Fred,Max,andBen plus Eddie in goal perform well in a otherwise "tired" performance from Fleet.We did manage to go one up through a nice through ball from Kieron that Shaun finished well. The second half was much more like it with Fleet dominating,better passing from the midfield and good hold up play from Will upfront meant we were on the front foot for most of the half. A miscued shot from Will spun away from the keeper and Pete followed up well to make it two nil. Fleet should have added a couple more and Pete had a cracking 25 yarder that was heading for the top corner well saved by the keeper,this followed a similar effort from Pete that hit the bar in the first half. Man of the match went to Pete.

A game of two halfs. Fleet started very well and dominated, Will opened the scoring with a left foot drive from outside the box,Kieron then put one in the top corner for two and Shaun produced a cool finish for three. Spelthorne pulled one back just before the break after a great save from Freddie seconds before. The second half was completely the reverse,Spelthorne came back strongly and Fleet were half asleep. Some great defending and goalkeeping limited Spelthorne to only one more goal and Fleet hung on for a victory. MOM went to Eddie for an excellent last man performance.Team from:Fred,Eddie,Ben,Max,Will,Sam,Kieron,Pete,Shaun.

First defeat of the season but an excellent game.Fleet started slowly against a very good Send team.Freddie in goal kept us in the game with some fantastic saves in the first half.Fleet got more into the game as the half went on and created some good chances but went in 1-0 down at half time.The second half saw Fleet start better and dominate early on,Shaun deflected a drive from Sam to make it 1-1,Send replied to go 2-1 up. Then some excellent work from Will saw him dummy and round the keeper and Shaun tapped in on the goal line to make it 2-2.A couple of defensive slips saw Fleet,undeservedly,let in two more goals. A very entertaining game and despite the scoreline a fantastic performance from Fleet. MOM went to Freddie for a great performance in goal. Team from : Freddie,Eddie,Alex,Max,Will,Sam,Pete,Shaun.

Another great win for The Spitfires.Fleet did not start the game very well and had to dig deep to keep the score at 0-0.This was not as fluent a performance as previous weeks but all of the boys worked and battled all game to secure the win.Pete opened the scoring with a superb side foot volley towards the end of the first half and Sam doubled our lead with a great strike from outside the box to clinch the points.Ben got MOM for his best performance to date with some superb tackles and good passing from the back.Eddie looked extremely safe on his first start in goal.Team from:Eddie,Max,Ben,Freddie,Alex,Will,Sam,Pete,Kieron,Shaun.

Another great performance.This team had beaten Fleet 8-2 last season in a cup game! A very even start to the game.Fleet started passing the ball well from the start.Freddie made a couple of crucial stops in goal at 0-0. The first goal came from Fleet,Will whipped a corner in and the ball deflected off a Hawley defender. Fleet then went 2 up through some excellent interplay between Pete and Shaun and Shaun produced a excellent finish in the top corner. Hawley pulled one back at the start of the second half.Shaun then bettered his first finish with an outstanding first time hit from an excellent cross from Kieran. Hawley pulled another back but Fleet held on for a deserved victory. All the boys were outstanding but MOM went to Sam for a tireless display.Team from: Fred,Alex,Ben,Max,Eddie,Will,Sam,Pete,Shaun,Kieran

A fantastic performance for the first game of the season. Fleet dominated for large periods with the level of passing possibly the best they have produced. Despite this the home team went 1 up from a break away. Fleet immediately responded through Shaun Ingle after a back to front passing move. The home keeper made save after save to keep the scores level. Midway through the second half Sam O'Hara tried a speculative effort that the keeper let squirm through his legs for the Fleet winner.
A well deserved result and a great start to our Div 3 campaign.

Man of the Match went to Freddie Stevens for a brave block when the score was at 1-1.
